What Does “Ledger Live Login” Mean?

The Ledger Live login process allows users to open their Ledger Live application using a password or biometric lock (on mobile) to protect account information stored locally on the device. How to Log In to Ledger Live

Launch the Ledger Live app on your computer or mobile device.

Logging In Safely

The Ledger Live login protects your app data, but your private keys are never stored inside the app. They always remain inside your Ledger device. Always verify any transaction directly on your device screen before approving. Avoid entering your recovery phrase on any computer or website — Ledger will never request it.
